Dispensing oral narcotics and medications of abusive potentiality requires stringent controls.  Medications must be rigidly accounted for and protected throughout the hospital dispensing system.  Complementing our line of TampAlerT tamper-evident syringe caps for luer lock syringes, the new EPS TampAlert Tamper-Evident Cap for Oral Dispensers helps pharmacists and nurses provide this protection for oral medication. 

Available for dispensers larger than 1 mL, each cap contains a white syringe cap protected by a bright red tamper-evident “break-away” sleeve.  Once attached to the syringe, the cap can only be removed when the outer sleeve is broken.  These closures are ideal for morphine and other oral anesthetics, controlled substances and chemo meds.
